We want to recruit experienced, committed, creative, resilient, experienced Social Workers to join our Children's Social Care teams across Cheshire West and Chester.

We have expanded our Social Work Teams across all our children’s statutory services so that we can continue to provide a high level of service to our children and families to ensure they receive the right service at the right time, and so that our Social Workers workload reflects our intention to carry on providing the best possible service in a creative working culture.

We are recruiting to the following teams: -

Child in Need Teams, based in Chester, Ellesmere Port and Winsford.

Child Protection/Court Teams based in Chester, Winsford and Ellesmere Port

Permanence Teams (working with children who are ‘looked after’) based in Winsford and Ellesmere Port.

Currently we are not able to consider newly qualified social workers.  You will need to have a minimum of 12 months post qualifying experience and will have completed your ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year of Employment).

You will need experience in assessment and planning in child in need and/or child protection and/or working with children who subject to Care Proceedings’ and are 'looked after'.
