The council’s StreetCare team take the lead in ensuring that this borough is a clean, safe and attractive place to live and visit, and we currently have opportunities to join the StreetCare’s Street Cleaning Team. If you are passionate about your local environment and want to make positive contributions to the way in which our borough looks and feels, then you could be the person we are looking for.

Tasks vary and will involve outdoor manual street cleaning and basic grounds maintenance tasks requiring the operation of a wide range of ride-on, pedestrian and manual maintenance tools, machinery, and equipment. 

A full clean driving licence is essential, and any advanced driving skills such as Class 1/2/HGV would be a distinct advantage.
